Open the map tab and tap Start Drive. BuildDNA will begin logging your route, speed, and distance in the background — you can lock your phone once recording starts.
GPS accuracy can dip in tunnels, parking garages, or dense city streets, which can throw off distance and speed readings for a short stretch. Driving with a clear view of the sky gives the most accurate results.
Yes — open the drive from your Drives tab, tap the menu icon, and choose Edit or Delete. Deleted drives are removed from your stats and any leaderboards immediately.
From your Profile, tap Add a vehicle and enter the year, make, and model. You can add photos, specs, and a running build log of mods afterward.
Every vehicle has a public build page. Open the vehicle, tap the share icon, and copy the link — anyone can view it without needing the app.
Make sure you're following each other — BuildDNA's feed only shows drives and mods from accounts you follow. Add and search for friends from the Friends nearby section on your Home screen.
Leaderboards rank drivers by total distance, top speed, or longest drive over a given period (weekly or all-time), scoped to Global, Friends, or your city. Rankings update within a few minutes of finishing a drive.
Go to Settings → Privacy to make your whole profile private, or toggle visibility on an individual drive from that drive's menu.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, garage, and drive history within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for details.
